Well, sorta ... I'm putting together my first standup comedy cd, and want the insert to be a comic book based on me and my real life adventures ... Anyhows, it appears that I've found some artists willing to do a couple pages of work for a couple hundred US dollars ... I've put so much money into my cd already, even a couple hundred seems like a lot though ... I wish YOU the very best in your endeavor ... I truly believe we each have the power to have fruitful crops in our garden of dreams ... Please believe in yourself ... Don't sell yourself short ... Don't give up ... Don't give in ... I'm glad you replied to me too. As I said, I'm hoping that the money will give me a boost but I get the impression it won't cover all the costs, or even come close. This being my first professionally published work, Ive been overly excited to share my work with people. But, now that the book is coming out in graphic novel format, I honestly DO feel a since of calm has rushed over me, not in the since that I can slack on the work, but on knowing that I dont NEED to rush any pages knowing that they need to get to the colorist, then the printer within a week. I understand completely what you're saying and what you want. And I hope that our book hasnt made you feel that way. And if so, I apologize. Keep up these great posts.
